Constructivist or not?

Please go to Dr. Dodge's site, and select one of the courses on the list. Evaluate the course in terms of learning theories that are applied in this course.

I went to this site it was like putting a text book on line. Very little interation and it loads slowly. They have 9 pages that are pdf files that should be short moive clips. I have seen better.

Read the class on teaching history with digital archives. I think the class approaches the idea from a constructivist standpoint, but I think the target audience is far too broad. It is designed fro students from k-12 to college. I see no way to address such a broad target audience. I think it would be tough to present the children of a 1st grade class with material that would interest 25-year-old college students at the same time.
This is a rigid course designed after constructivist theory.
I think the author would benefit from rereading Gagne and Piaget, then narrowing the focus of instruction or to break it down into subsets with a narrower focus.
